2005 Nobel Winners

Robert Aumann and Thomas Schelling have won "for having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game-theory analysis." Here is the full press release.  I can happily report that I had Schelling on my short list (although not Aumann).  Schelling's books The Strategy of Conflict and Micromotives and Macrobehavior are classics.  I will add more later.
